Barnes Artists

Founded in 2018, Barnes Artists was set up to draw in the tremendous but little-known artistic talent that thrives in leafy Barnes.

Since then the group has flourished in numbers, shows, sales and community collaborations. The majority of members tend to be residents of Barnes, Mortlake, Sheen and Putney. We are a mixed group of professional and semi-professional painters, photographers, printers, ceramicists, sculptors, collagers and embroiderers. Whilst we do not have a strict selection process for new members we aspire to a high standard of work.

Barnes Artists enjoy meeting up once a month. See dates under Events. These meetings vary from planning a new show of our work to discussing a recent exhibition, sharing skills and technical problems. We sometimes have speakers and always enjoy seeing each other’s recent work.

Barnes Artists is a financially sound, self-funded, non-profit making group with no residential qualifications for members or exhibitors. All events are organised by volunteer members.
