What are you working on now?
Commissions and a lockdown-inspired series of daily drawings that feature 50 inspiring places I love or would love to see. Pure escapism.

How has lockdown affected your work?
Work has become a way of shaking off the everyday stress related to lockdown. It's quite meditative and anchoring. 

Recent technical discovery?
Textural paste for acrylic paintings. Also, copper leaf for works on paper.

Favourite artist?
Mark Rothko, Georgia O'Keeffe, Dan Flavin, Christo and many others!

Colour you can't do without?
Yellow! to me it's a symbol of pure joy and happiness.  

Plein Air or Studio?
Studio

Barnes Secret for an artist?
The bit of Barnes Common between Mill Hill and the train station. Also, Leg O Mutton!

Favourite piece of kit?
Copic multiliner pens.

What makes Barnes special to an artist?
The nature found throughout Barnes and the charming village vibe. The unique pubs and walks along the river.
