Hannah Bourne
About the artist
Hannah Bourne is a screen printer with a diverse portfolio of work encompassing studies of urban and architectural detail, through to interpretations of the natural world and portraits.
Before founding Bournie Prints, Hannah studied at London College of Printing and Chelsea College of Art.
An avid photographer, she enjoys the process of framing a subject through her camera lens, distilling that image to a bespoke colour palette and then screen printing it by hand to create a graphic work.
A local resident for nearly 25 years, Bournie works from her studio at home in Barnes.
Each image is printed by hand, usually part of a small edition, using water-based paints on Heritage Wood-free or Fabriano, acid-free 315gsm paper.
