About the artist
Sue is known for her large exquisitely detailed graphite drawings. Inspired by the textures and bold shapes of vegetables, shellfish, marine fish, sea shells and fossils. She produces larger than life images of a variety of carefully chosen subjects, creating artwork of an extraordinary graphic quality.
Her career began as a graphic designer, employed and later freelance. She produced a variety of design material for selected clients, from large companies to small businesses and individuals.
Here is a selection of the original drawings and prints which are elegantly and carefully positioned within the page. They work well being displayed as an individual, in pairs or as a group. Sue is also producing landscapes and views of the River Kennet.
She lives and works in Barnes and enjoying being close to the River Thames and the Common.
