About the artist

After thirty years working as a commissioned Muralist, fine artist and illustrator, Anna’s work is now mainly semi abstract or abstract expressionist, as she loves the unpredictability and surprise of the form.

Anna’s mother was a professional Painter and Illustrator, so painting and drawing have been part of her life since before she could walk. However, determined not to predictably follow in her mothers footsteps, she trained at Drama school rather than Art school, and worked as an actress for ten years, until she noticed she spent more time painting sets than acting in them!

This, in time, led to a career as a Muralist. Anna has painted 90 murals, over the years,  ranging from health spas to Ashrams, for pop  stars and millionaires, from South of France  to India. Now she is delighted to paint without needing a scaffold!
